Tania Khasanova

Senior Vice President, Science and Technology

Tania Khasanova leads Rancho’s global organization of scientific data curators, bioinformaticians, and technology specialists. She is responsible for scientific excellence and delivery across all service and product engagements, including proposals, project execution, budgeting, and team development.

With more than twenty years of experience, Tania has directed complex programs in knowledge engineering, FAIR data, data management, clinical data curation, platform development, and advanced biology initiatives. Her background includes leadership roles at GeneGo and Thomson Reuters, extensive work with open source technologies such as tranSMART, Cytoscape, and Connectivity Map, and contributions to chemistry and therapeutic area projects at BioFocus DPI.

Tania holds a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Nevada at Reno and completed postdoctoral training in peptidomimetics and neurodegenerative diseases at the University of California at Irvine. She has completed AMA leadership training, published more than fifteen peer reviewed papers, holds three US patents, and has presented invited talks and posters at scientific conferences.
