Julie Bryant is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rancho BioSciences, leading the company’s mission to save lives through data. She oversees Rancho’s strategy, vision, and growth, working closely with clients and teams to advance scientific and operational outcomes across the life sciences landscape.
Julie brings more than thirty years of global executive experience spanning data science, software, and R&D innovation. Her leadership roles include GeneGo in systems biology, Thomson Reuters in scientific content, OminiViz in text mining, Genometrix in gene expression and genotyping, and Biosym/Accelrys in molecular modeling. She has also advised and helped fund emerging companies including FreedomVoice, aPriori Beauty Company, Simulscribe, and Bimini Pet Health. Her experience includes significant M&A work, including the sale of GeneGo to Thomson Reuters and supporting the GoDaddy acquisition of FreedomVoice.
Julie holds a science degree from the United Kingdom. She has edited a pathway biology book and is listed on scientific posters, papers, and patents. She serves on advisory boards for Rady Children’s Hospital and the John Wayne Cancer Institute.
